What Is Women United?
Women United, Together in Christ was formed in 2002 in the small town of Arlington, MN. A group of believers from different churches wanted to create an organization that would bring Christian women from all backgrounds together to learn, to pray, to worship, to network, and build new relationships…celebrating our common love for the Lord Jesus Christ. We started having events, each time inviting a guest speaker to teach, and inviting ladies from miles around to attend. The response was tremendous.
Women United now serves central Minnesota by having three events each year- one in the spring and fall, and a weekend retreat in the summer (most often in Duluth). We encourage the “churched” and the “un-churched” to attend. Striving for unity, we cross all denominational boundaries, to get ‘stirred up’ to become all God wants us to be.
